Cambridge Trust Scholarship information

The majority of Cambridge University’s scholarships for international students are offered through the Cambridge Trust. The Cambridge Trust scholarship was established to support students with excellent academic merit through a range of scholarship programs when the Cambridge Commonwealth Trust and the Cambridge Overseas Trust combined on August 1, 2013.

A chosen set of excellent students wishing to pursue Ph.D., master’s, and undergraduate degrees in a range of fields are given full- and partial-cost scholarships through the Trust grant.

Scholarships from the Cambridge Trust are only available for study at the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom. The application must be filed online through the university website as soon as feasible before the scholarship deadline.

Application Process for Cambridge Trust

There are multiple processes for applying to undergraduate and graduate programs. Candidates for Cambridge Trust Funding must have submitted an admissions application and received a conditional admissions offer.

Candidates can use the Cambridge scholarship search to locate a list of scholarships for which they might be eligible. Please be aware that you must carefully examine the specifications of each scholarship because some may have additional requirements or require a separate application.

For entrance in 2021, the UCAS application deadline was October 15, 2021, at 6 p.m. (UK time). If you want to apply for the 2022 admission but missed the deadline for undergraduate education, you should constantly monitor the university website for changes.

Please verify the funding deadline for your degree before applying if you are applying for postgraduate study. Indicate on your application that you would like to be considered for financial aid for your studies.

Two deadlines for general course financing for postgraduate studies exist: December 2, 2021, and January 6, 2022. Both national and foreign applicants must meet these requirements.

Cambridge Trust Scholarships Awards Process

The Cambridge Trust Funding awards process is a continuous process that lasts from March to the end of July. The bulk of full awards from the Cambridge Trust are given out in March, however the processing of certain of their partner-funded prizes may take longer. Additionally, Cambridge Trust could be able to elevate reserve candidates if bids are rejected.
